Trinity or Family

Three in one and one in three -

Tell me now how can that be?

Is God a limited trinity or a Family?

In the beginning God Elohim created heaven and earth.

Now Elohim's a plural word like family, team or Church.

So Elohim said "Let us make man in form and shape like us.

We look like them, they look like us,

Now is that clear enough?

God the Father is the greatest, Most High on Heaven's throne,

By His name will the whole Family in heaven and earth be known.

Eternal, Immortal, Invisible, no man has ever seen Him.

One job of Christ when on the earth

Was teaching to reveal Him.

Well the Word was God and He was with God way back in the beginning.

Born of flesh, He dwelt with us to rescue us from sinning.

Israel's Rock, the lamb of God, He spoke and it was done.

He became the firstborn from the dead,

But not the only one.

I and My Father are one, Christ said, in spirit, mind, and will.

Keep those who you have given me, guard and protect them till...

They may be one as we are one, till glory they receive.

Overcomers, worthy of worship, children who believe.

I in them and You in Me, all made perfect in one.

All filled with the Holy Spirit,

Each known as a daughter or son.

A second birth of water and spirit into God's glorious Kingdom

Perfected, immortal, born of God, a future truly awesome.

The truth is very plain to see, for God's a Family.
