Armor of God

Gotta start a new life, gotta get it right.

Starting out a new life, walking in the light.

Gotta get prepared now, it's gonna be a fight,

Putting on the whole armor of God.

Buckling on the Truth now, tight about my waist.

Putting on my breastplate, gotta get it laced.

I'm walking in the way now, I'm doing it with haste,

Putting on the whole armor of God.

Studying the Bible, yes I gotta take my sword.

Enemy's attacking, well at least we're never bored.

Gotta get my boots on 'cause I gotta spread the Word,

Putting on the whole armor of God.

Got the shield of faith now, to quench a fiery dart.

Putting on my helmet, that's a most important part.

I'm looking to the future, when my life as God will start, Putting on the whole armor of God.
