When men start to deceive, even those who do believe
Could go astray like mother Eve.
False teachers seem so innocent, they fool those who are negligent,
Be diligent, be vigilant, perceive.
False teachers, false prophets, false apostles, false Christs,
In the last days deception will abound.
Great signs, lying wonders, strong delusions will astound
All of those who do not love the truth.
Into houses they will creep, spouting words that sound so deep,
They want to have a flock of sheep.
They may murmur and complain, covetous they look for gain.
Don't share their pain, the truth maintain, don't sleep.
False teachers, false prophets, false apostles, false Christs,
In the last days deception will abound.
Great signs, lying wonders, strong delusions will astound
All of those who do not love the truth.
To the law and to God's Word, test and prove those things you've heard.
Follow the shepherd, not the herd.
Ask for God to give you wisdom, guide you safely to His Kingdom.
Overcome, shine like the sun when you've endured.
