Truthsongs

Welcome friends,

The Church of God has existed since Pentecost, 31 AD.  Over the centuries,  God has continued to call people out of the traditions of the world and into His Truth.  As a member of the Worldwide Church of God in the '80's, I was inspired by hearing Mark Graham perform one of his wonderful songs at the Feast.  Other members introduced me to the music of Matthew and Sharon Kalliman.  I brushed off my guitar and started performing some of their work as special music at local services.  I was in awe of their talent and never dreamed I could ever write a song.  I am still in awe,  but through the gift of God  I found in the 90's that I too was able to write a certain kind of song.

At the time the wounds of the apostasy were fresh and I was appalled that so many members were accepting false doctrines after all the sermonettes and sermons we all heard. My intention was to make songs that would support the messages from the ministry by scriptural summaries in bite size song packages. 

My goal has been to write songs clearly and obviously about the true doctrines of the Church of God for the Church of God.  I write

about basic doctrines putting together the strongest scriptures on a subject and not my own opinions or views or explanations.  I want the songs to reflect God's mind as I had been taught in the Worldwide Church of God, led for over 50 years by Herbert W. Armstrong.
